Just a guy trying to improve the things around me

I have a bachelors in science, and I've volunteered at many different organisations for over 10 years. By the end of it, I realised that if you want something done properly, you need to do it yourself. Many of these organisations and "Charities" are heavily burdened by bureaucracy and as a result have SO much waste. Meaning the impact they have is very little (I've seen it first hand). There is little to no transparency in most of these organisations so you have no idea where your money is really going. Should I ever create a non-profit organisation I will have 100% transparency on ALL spending (A public ledger of what my non-profit spends) to be critiqued by anyone who wants to critique it.

Currently, I believe one of the biggest problems we face is the rampant consumerism and products that are being filled with terribly toxic and harmful chemicals that we all ingest, which eventually leech into nature and animals. I firmly believe in solving problems at the root cause, not up the chain. Instead of recycling (Which realistically is mostly marketing so we don't feel bad about consumerism - as with a lot of Greenwashing) we should make long-lasting, non-toxic, multi-use, easy-to-clean, products. And that's what I dream of creating. Instead of trying to solve health issues by prescribing pills, why don't we try to find the root cause, which is often mass-produced, ultra-processed, chemically-altered food.

Alongside this, I want to purchase land. Land that can be turned into conservation areas, animal rescue centers, and local food gardens. I want to create little oasis's in the cities, havens for animals whose homes we have destroyed. Places that create communities of people who want to come together and unwind and work towards building something better. Designed from the ground-up to be non-toxic and as safe as is realistically possible in this modern world. Food grown without any insecticides, herbicides, poisons, etc. Water that's not littered with PFAS, Micro-Plastics, Fluoride, Chlorine, etc.

ALL of the profits I make will go towards a savings fund, which once filled up enough will be spent on whatever is most needed at that time which aligns with one of these issues I have mentioned.
